Washburn classifies this guitar as a Southern Jumbo Dreadnought. The shape is very similar to a tradition dreadnought but with more of a sloap to the shoulders. The solid cedar top gives a superior tone that is warmer sounding than a spruce. Cocobolo is a type of hard rosewood that grows in Central America and is used for the back and sides on this guitar. This hard cocobolo helps to balance out the warmer cedar top by giving clarity to the overall tone. The grain pattern to the cocobolo is very pretty as well, adding to the desire of these guitars. String action is set up low and very easy to play. A Washburn logo hard shell case is included with this guitar. This guitar was part of a limited run Washburn made for its Elite dealers only, grab it today before it's gone!
